The Popular news aggregator application (RSS Reader) "Feedly" today suffered from the cyber attacks, as hackers have DDoS (distributed denial-of-service) the Feedly server. On the blog post Feedly announced that the service was attacked by the cyber hackers, with the DDOS attack and asked some ransom to stop it.
Edwin Khodabakchian, founder and CEO of Feedly have resufed to give the ransom-
“We refused to give in and are working with our network providers to mitigate the attack as best as we can,”The Company is working with law enforcement agencies, and the Network provider to mitigate the attack. Company confirmed that User's data is safe and they will be soon able to re-access their feedly as soon as the attackis neutralized.
The same DDOS attack was also reported by the Evernote, as on Tuesday. About 100+ million users of Evernote was unabale to access their EverNotes. After the numbers of question and reports, Evernote have says on the twitter that, they are suffering from DDOS attack.

After 4 hours, Evernote service was back on the track, but company says that it might take 24 hours to completely come back to normal.
Till yet it is not been cleared yet that why hacker have targeted Evernote? May here also the same reason, attacker asking for some ransom.
