The hackers group Anonymous are planning a massive cyber-attack on sponsors of the World Cup in Brazil to register protest against excessive spending on the tournament in a situation where people are suffering to get hold of basic services, Reuters report.
A statement says to the Reuters by hackers as follows
Last week Anonymous hackers group have hacked into Brazil’s Foreign Ministry computers and leaked highly confidential emails and documents.
Till yet there is no such kind of hack related to World Cup 2014 have came up yet. But if the Anonymous group started targeting the world Cup sponsors, it will be one of the biggest cyber attack by Anonymous.
Hack may launched the DDoS or Distributed Denial-of-service on the Sponsors websites or can also damage the companies infrastructure.
Last time also Anonymous hacker have hacked and defaced the FIFA Brazil website with the protest message on the deface page.

"We have already conducted late-night tests to see which of the sites are more vulnerable," said the hacker who operates under the alias of Che Commodore. "We have a plan of attack."
"This time we are targeting the sponsors of the World Cup," hackers says. He also reveal a names of the sponsors that will be targeted. He mentioned Adidas, Emirates airline [EMIRA.UL], the Coca-Cola Co and Budweiser, which is owned by Anheuser-Busch InBev, in there target list.
