The company announced 6TB and 12TB iCloud+ plans at its iPhone 15 launch event on Tuesday. These newly introduced plans join Apple's existing lineup of 50GB, 200GB, and 2TB options.
The new 6TB plan is priced at Rs 2,999 per month while the 12TB plan will cost you Rs 5,900 per month. All three initial plans, 50GB, 200GB, and 2TB options are priced at Rs 75 per month, Rs 219 per month, and Rs 749 per month respectively.
Like other iCloud+ plans, the new tiers can be shared with up to five family members through Family Sharing at no extra cost.
iCloud+ provides users with cloud storage for photos, files, device backups and more. The service bundles additional features like enhanced security and privacy tools iCloud Private Relay and Hide My Email.
The high-capacity plans target creative professionals, photographers and videographers who need copious storage for large photo and video libraries. Families who want a single shared pool of storage will also benefit.
According to Apple, the new plans allow users to keep up to 30 million photos, 400 hours of 1080p video or 100 hours of 4K footage stored in iCloud.
The 6TB and 12TB iCloud+ options are now live and users can upgrade or subscribe on iPhone, iPad and Mac devices.
