After the long request, Google finally rolled out a new feature- being able to download a copy of your Gmail and Google Calendar data. By this features now you can back up all your data of Gmail and also all the info’s of Google calender.
By this features you can just export all your data and also can import to other service. This feature lets you to download all you gmail and calender data which is in MBOX format. You can choose different labels on Gmail, that you want to download.
This feature is the part of Google Takeout service, which lets you to download custom archive of your data from google products. With the Gmail and calender data, you can also download the data from other Google products which includes Google+, YouTube, Google Contacts, Google Drive, Google Voice, Google Profile, Google location history, Google Hangouts, and other Google data.
When you browse to the Google Takeout service page, you will get 14 Google Products but there is no Gmail. This is because Google says that, Gmail will be adding “from the next month“, but calender data meanwhile is available for everyone.
